Time to unleash a revolution?

I think World War 3 will not be a war fought between countries but between the governments of the world & the citizens of those countries. I see the people rising up against the power-hungry rulers of today & taking back the freedoms that they once were granted (or promised). I see this war being brutal on both sides, with chemical & biological means being used, mostly on the part of the government leaders against the masses of citizens, in a sick & twisted attempt to control them. I think every world leader (& all those below them on the totem pole) should be made to sit & watch the movie Wizards as a reminder of what happens when you seek utter & complete control over a populace. Perhaps then the nasty power-grabs that are happening in governments around the world would not be happening...

Unfortunately people are doomed to repeat history because we so often do not remember the past, even recent past, and the failures of previous rulers to clamp down on the people they presume to rule over. People in leadership roles often forget why they are there, as servants to the people, not tyrants over them. But power does corrupt the corruptible & too many people are prey to this character flaw.

The problem with this theory of governmental control is that government exists to help propagate the species so we human-animals can continue to exist. We're here to expand the species, not to destroy it. We are here to evolve as a species, not clamp down & control each other. Until all the world's leaders remember this & live up to such high & lofty ideals, we will continue to have these ridiculous power struggles between the governments of the world & the people they profess to be helping.

I remember a little event that happened just about 200 years ago (closer to 230 years ago, but who's counting?). The ruler of the land, a guy named George, was a little power-mad & wanted all the money to himself. He figured, he's in charge so he can charge his citizens to give him all their money & they had better hand it over. Of course, he used such terms as tax & levee but it all boiled down to the same thing: he wanted it all & would do what he thought he should to get it.

We all know what happened next, don't we kids? Some of his people had the nerve to fight back against this King George & they declared their independence from him & his land. They said they were no longer his citizens & thus didn't have to pay him a dime! He wasn't going to take such lip from anyone, so he sent his military to fight these rebellious fools & they fought back just as hard (harder, they were fighting for their freedom). Finally, the victors arose from the ashes of war & told ole George to stay out of their back yard.

Then these winners of the day wrote out a document they hoped would keep other men from trying to ascend on high above all like George did. And for 200 years, it worked pretty good. People of all stations respected this document as a near holy relic. Leaders of this new land swore to uphold this document to insure that freedom for the people would always exist.

And then, a few scant years ago, another George (King George the III's reincarnation bent on revenge perhaps?) came to power & spent his reign trying his hardest to pull down this document & strip it of all it's former power & glory. The result of this new George's machinations is that almost all the freedoms that the people of this new land had reaped for two centuries where taken away in such a way to make it almost impossible to put them back again without destroying the document itself.

This is the land many people call America & the document, as you might have guessed, is the United States Constitution. No longer, "Land of the Free, Home of the Brave," we have been reduced to "Land of the Controlled, Home of the Meek."

Yet if enough people stood up against the control our government (and governments the world over are taking) as a People, as a Nation, what leader anywhere could stand against us?

Such a revolution would have to be en-masse to be effective though. It would have to be so total that even the police & military men & women would join the side of the citizen (their families are regular citizens, after all) & stand against the power-hungry so called "leaders" who dare to control the people so totally.

Then, and only then, would a mostly peaceful conclusion happen in the world. Then I see a world where this new World War would have been won before it even started. Then I see humanity taking a truly evolved approach towards things instead of blindly following the leader in hopes that they know where they are leading us.

Which outcome will happen? Will humanity (including the leaders of the world) take an evolved approach towards freedom & equality for all? Or will it be brother against brother until death overtakes us all? It is up to all of us to see that the right choices are made. It is up to all of us to stand up for our rights as human beings. It is up to all of us to demand that the leaders & governments of the world act for the people's best interests instead of for greed. It is up to ever last man, woman & child to say, "I am free! I will not be controlled! I choose my own destiny!"

Only then will the world truly be free. Only then will there be an end to the power-madness we see in people today who try to rule us instead of lead us by being outstanding examples of humanity for all to emulate.

Today most people that go into politics & other leadership "professions" are not people that many of us would want our children or ourselves to emulate or look up to as true leaders or heroes. I find that a true pity.

Life is not about control. It is about freedom, expansion & growth...

Alice is in Wonderland

Alice Huston died tonight at about 1am, April 16th, 2009 in Shirley, Long Island, New York.

She was my mother's best friend in the entire world for the last forty or more years. She is voyaging in the afterlife now and we all hope she is having a good time there. We will miss her. She was strong, good, funny, warm, and full of laughter and light in life. I can hardly believe she is really gone.

But she is not really gone. She has left her body, this is true, but she is still alive in her spirit. She still exists beyond the physical reality we all know. And she is still with us when we need her to be. She will always be in our hearts and our thoughts. And I will always remember her as the vibrant woman she was.

We love you Alice! Stay close to our thoughts!

Goodbye, Alice! We will always love you!

Alice is now in Wonderland forever! Goodbye Alice! See you later!

Twitter Suicide Attempt

This morning I woke up super early and couldn't go back to sleep. So, instead I went on twitter - my 24/7 entertainment and communication hub! But this morning would be a bit different. After an hour or so on twitter, mrskutcher aka Demi Moore retweeted a message from someone named sandieguy who said she was going to commit suicide.

Demi's RT brought a huge amount of attention to this woman through many of her followers, including me! We came out in force to make sure this woman Sandie Guy knew she was not alone & shouldn't go through with it! Dozens of phone calls went out to the San Jose, CA area PD where she lives which led to the woman being taken in for psychiatric observation. She hadn't yet gone through with her threats to off herself! So, did we avert an actual suicide or did we trouble a troll seeking attention? Either way, job well done! ;-)

But really, I hope this woman gets some help so she sees her life is still worth it. I picked up on the net that she is about 50-years-old, recently lost her dad & recently divorced. She also seems to struggle with a weight problem. Poor woman must have felt like she hit rock bottom! I really hope she does get some help!

Working Online

I've seen and read a ton of different online "opportunities" that turn out to be nothing but a scam.

I have found one company that is trying something different. Using one of the most popular searches online, that of "people search," this company is trying to capitalize on all those searches being done to find people.

I have signed up to try this and am hoping some of you reading this will be willing to try it out too.

If you just want to try out the people search engine, please go here: http://astartiel-people-search.ws/

But if you're more interested in this business opportunity, then visit this link instead: http://astartiel-people-search.ws/tissa.htm

I really hope this works! I'm ready to make some money online! How about you? ;-)

PS - This goes hand-in-hand with my experiments with using the Law of Attraction to create the reality I want. Well, I'm trying to attract as many people to this opportunity as possible to help make them and I lots of money! We will see if it works!

Law Of Attraction: Bullcrap Or Not?

Like many these days, I've read alot about LOA, the "Law of Attraction" and I've tried applying it in my life to get things I want in life. I've read The Secret, watched the movie and What The Bleep as well. I've read dozens of other reality creation books from the old classics like Hill, Wattles, Atkinson, Marden, Collier, Allen and Behrend, to newer authors from Jane Roberts Seth books and the Abraham books to authors like Carol Look and Jack Canfield. I've even read dozens of smaller ebooks from every day people who have made their own attempt at explaining how to use the LOA. I've read all the material I could get my hands on, in other words.

I could probably resell many of these books or use them as bonus add-ons for selling a small LOA ebook of my own. Perhaps that is truly the only real way of using the LOA to make money - by selling the idea to others - and thereby using that money to make my other dreams come true. Other than people using the LOA this way (to sell an unworkable idea to gullible people who will pay too much to try these bogus techniques out) I haven't heard of too many people succeeding in using such techniques to create any significant changes in their life, myself included.

I've tried so many techniques that I feel a bit overwhelmed by it all! I use affirmation cds and mp3s regularly, I use visualization also regularly, I have tried various different manifestation techniques to help "speed up" manifesting, I've tried using EFT with the LOA, and I've used the Sedona Method and still I've yet to manifest anything different in my life - from a blue feather to any of my goals for life!

I've tried Asking, Allowing and Expecting and I'm still Waiting. I've given thanks to the Universe for bringing me my goals and desires and felt lots of gratitude for having that which I want. If there is a "secret" to the Secret working, I have yet to discover it. I haven't given up yet - I'm still trying all these ideas and techniques out - but I must admit to having my doubts about this working, and this is coming from a true New Ager, who believes in reincarnation and tarot cards! ;-)

If anyone online reads this and desires to Enlighten me some on what I am doing wrong or how to do this LOA thing successfully, please drop me a line and let me know! I'm always open to new experiences and trying new things, especially if they involve successfully using the Law of Attraction to manifest my goals and desires! To be sure, if I ever do have any success at this reality creation LOA stuff, I'll be sure to post it here and let you all know what I did to achieve it!

To Blog or Not To Blog or A Blog By Any Other Name...

Why do I blog? Why do I journal online? What is my drive for writing these journal entries? I've been asking myself these and similar questions for awhile now. And for that reason, I'm finally starting to use this lj blog to start getting clarity on why I'm writing online in the first place. Perhaps this can lead me to more answers to other questions I have about my life. Regardless of whether this attempt at reorienting my blog-focus works or not, I am for the time being moving my journal to here. I hope all my friends find me here!
